Are you doing a regular clean or a registry clean? There are known problems with the start menu on some installations of Win 10 and 8, 8. For those interested after putting a new Win 10 enterprise image on my system and deselecting both "MUI Cache" plus "Start Menu Ordering" option in the registry section of cCleaner ir worked flawlessly for over 3 months. I've spent quite a few hours to figure out this issue when I installed windows 10 back then, my start menu would break everytime and the cause was that I had Microsoft Edge cleaning options selected.
