Move all those hotfix uninstallers to other drive, other comp, or burn them on a disc if you really want to be safe thats what actually i used to do on my laptop with very small hard drive - long before i start using ccleaner - i always moved them to my desktop pc and there added them to an UDF-formatted CD-RW InCD in Nero etc ; my Windows accumulated already 2 cd-rw discs full of just the hotfix uninstallers - and thats only since the SP4 was released.

It also doesn't hog a lot of space or resources, and it isn't loaded w malware. You won't suddenly see pop-ups and notice performance slow downs, to the contrary CCleaner will help purge your machine of all that annoying and potentially dangerous garbage!
I use it daily when shutting down. It does a nice job of "taking out the trash! I may eventually try the paid version. If the free one is this good, then I don't think I can go far wrong w the higher horsepower version! And NO I wasn't paid to endorse this or any other product I just thought I'd put in my 2 cents for those trying to make a decision.
Don't hesitate to take it for a test drive for a week or two, if you don't like it then just uninstall. But I'll bet you'll keep it and wish you had it all along! Keep this program and use it regularly. I run the Registry Cleaner tool weekly and the Cleaner tool twice a month.
